  2. Brief description of the breakdown experienced
  3. Brief description of the type of bicycle
  4. Where you’ve broken down

Don’t have bicycle roadside assistance under your lease contract?

If not and your bike is damaged or stolen, get in touch with the person in charge of lease bikes at your company as soon as possible.

Who can get bicycle roadside assistance and where?

KBC Autolease Assistance for bicycles covers you in the Benelux region and up to 25 kilometres outside Belgium.
Eligibility for roadside assistance is linked to the bike, so it doesn’t matter who’s riding it.

When can you request bicycle roadside assistance?

You can request our service if you suddenly and unexpectedly find yourself unable to use your bike. By this we mean

  • Your bike can no longer be used (for example, due to a technical defect, flat tyre, accident, vandalism, theft or attempted theft)
  • You can no longer ride your bike in a way that’s compliant with the highway code (for example, if your light is broken)

If you’ve already taken your bike to a repair shop, you won’t be able to get roadside assistance.

Good to know

You are only entitled to roadside assistance if

  • You stay with the bike (except if you have to go to hospital)
  • The roadside assistance service can reach your bike
