What is the Worldline Link/2500 payment terminal?
The Link/2500 is a portable payment terminal that lets your customers pay quickly and securely on and off premises. This payment terminal works over a 4G and a Wi-Fi connection.
Your customers choose whether to pay by card or with their smartphone (contactless or otherwise). The customer receives the payment receipt in their inbox or scans a QR code on the terminal.
To ensure your accounting is always accurate and up to date, you can access an overview of your income in Worldline’s myPortal dashboard.
How do I order a Link/2500?
- Register with Worldline in a matter of minutes. Have your contact, company and bank details ready, i.e. a copy of your identity card, an extract from the ‘Crossroads Bank for Enterprises’ (CBE) database and an account statement. You need this information when registering with Worldline. More info on the documents to be supplied can also be found at FAQ Self-Onboarding | Worldline Belgium.
- Worldline will send you the terminal as soon as your contract is in order.
- You can receive payments once you start up the terminal.

Yes they can. The Link/2500 lets your customers pay quickly and securely by contactless using their smartphone or debit card.
The screen of the payment terminal is equipped with Near Field Communication (NFC) technology. To pay, all your customers have to do is hold their smartphone or payment card against the device.
You can see an overview of your sales and also request details of all your digital transactions in myPortal, the online customer portal run by Worldline. You can easily save this information to your computer as well.
After ordering your terminal, you will receive an e-mail detailing how to log in to myPortal.

The cost per transaction depends on such factors as the payment amount and whether the customer pays by debit card or credit card.
