Cash transactions
Travelling outside Europe or to a non-euro country like the UK, Sweden or Switzerland and intend to pay for things in cash in those countries? If you are, you can order your foreign currency from KBC. You can withdraw or deposit euros, too, or arrange for them to be collected or even delivered.
Ordering euro banknotes and coins
You can withdraw banknotes at an ATM. Large cash amounts (up to 25 000 euros in banknotes and up to 2 500 euros in coins) can be ordered online or during opening hours in a KBC branch near you.
Once your online order has been processed, you’ll receive an e-mail advising you of the delivery date. The order will be ready for collection within five business days at most. You then select the account to be debited. To use this service, you must be the account holder or the person holding power of attorney for the account.
You can also have someone else pick up the order once. Contact the KBC branch where you hold your account to conclude an agreement and arrange a power of attorney for this.
Depositing euro banknotes and coins
You can deposit banknotes 24/7 at any KBC ATM or CASH point.
You can also put the banknotes into security bags and hand them over at a KBC branch near you, where the amount will be immediately credited to your account.
We also have a range of solutions for coins.
