I’m always enthusiastic, full of energy and optimistic, and like to ensure a good atmosphere. 

I was looking for something in the financial sector with a commercial angle. Customer contact is important to me: I don’t want to be working alone all day. Being with colleagues and clients is what appeals to me most. It sounds like a cliché, but that’s what makes things enjoyable. 

I love my holidays, but after a couple of weeks I start missing my work. 

I put the client first from the moment they come in. I listen to them carefully. What is it they’re looking for? What do they need? I try to build up an overall picture so that I can offer tailored solutions and advice. It’s wonderful to see a client going away satisfied. 

KBC’s omnichannel approach is great, because you can always offer alternatives if the client calls and you’re not available. They can carry on digitally, for instance, or contact KBC Live. It’s important for us to explain the different ways our clients can use to reach us. We also guide them through the first steps towards arranging their banking affairs digitally. 

I mainly work with agents and KBC Live, which is a brilliant supplement to the branches. Clients often tell me they can only make an appointment in the evening or at the weekend. So it’s great when you can offer a solid alternative. 

Being part of a team is one of the main reasons I like working here. There’s a willingness to tackle problems together. That’s what makes KBC so great. 

I have fantastic colleagues. It’s the small things that make for a good working atmosphere. Once a month, for instance, we go and eat fries together. ‘Greasy Friday’, we call it! Or we’ll go for a drink together when we hit a target. My ideal team buddy is someone who will take a lead, who doesn’t just sit back. Someone willing to act, who sticks to agreements and delivers what they promise.
