What does this job entail?

With a global overview and by taking a uniform approach at all entities in our five core countries and corporate branches worldwide. As our Corporate & Compliance Governance Advisor, you contribute to these efforts. Working with colleagues in the Corporate & Compliance Governance team, you help KBC lead the way.
What do we expect from you?
- You are always up to date with the latest legislative developments relating to Corporate & Compliance Governance.
- You improve the structure and standardise the methods used to identify, assess and manage compliance risk, to update principles and policies and to translate regulatory developments into Compliance organisation and governance.
- You will advise on implementation within KBC and monitor compliance across all of KBC's activities
- You monitor and assess outsourcing cases. You do this in conjunction with other divisions of KBC.
- You monitor and evaluate overviews of the handling of complaints. You do this for the entire KBC Group.
- You play a part in ensuring employees are aware of compliance requirements. You support commercial line management and assist in the development of targeted training programmes.
Your key strengths?
- You pair excellent knowledge of Compliance Governance regulations with two to five years of practical experience inthe financial institutions.
- You have a master’s degree in a related field such as law, economics or IT.
- You think outside the box. With strong critical thinking skills and an analytical mind, you see solutions when you encounter problems.
- You’re assertive, diplomatic and persuasive. You unite people, leading them to accomplish shared goals.
- You’re happy working independently, but enjoy working with others to achieve goals as a team.
- You communicate clearly, but not only in English. You’re also comfortable in French or Dutch.
- You’re highly motivated with a level of commitment that inspires others.
