What is a temporary debit card?
If your debit card’s been lost, stolen or become defective and your new card hasn’t been delivered yet, the KBC Go Card can save the day. This temporary debit card enables you to carry out basic transactions such as make payments, withdraw cash or deposit money at self-service terminals.
Why ask for a temporary debit card?
You’ll receive your new debit card by post within a few days. If you need to withdraw cash or make payments while waiting for your card, the KBC Go Card is the ideal temporary solution that you can start using right away.

Until your new debit card arrives, you can use the KBC Go Card to do basic transactions such as make payments, withdraw cash or deposit money at self-service terminals.
- Withdraw cash or pay quickly and securely anywhere in the world (at retailers displaying the Bancontact or Mastercard logo)
- Pay quickly and contactless at the supermarket, restaurant or cinema
- Add your KBC Go Card to your digital wallet (Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.)
- Pay retailers or your contacts with Payconiq
You can use your KBC Go Card for 75 days, starting from the moment it has been activated.
The KBC Go Card becomes invalid when you use your permanent debit card for the first time. You should then destroy the temporary card by cutting it up, ensuring that you also cut through its chip.
- Got a KBC Plus Account?
If so, you’re entitled to a free KBC Go Card twice a year after which you pay 10 euros per card. - If you have a KBC Basic Account or KBC Current Account, you pay 10 euros per card.
