What exactly is leadlife?
Leadlife is a unique lifestyle and well-being platform in Belgium. It’s not always easy to maintain an optimal lifestyle and it can be even trickier to actually do something about it.
It’s important to remember that living healthier does not necessarily mean going to the gym every day, because it’s actually the small changes to your lifestyle that make all the difference. That’s where leadlife can help you, putting you back in control of your lifestyle in no time.

- During the work week you can chat with an expert who’ll help you on your journey
- All your data is stored in your personal vault and grouped in the user-friendly leadlife app (you can choose to share it with an expert so you know exactly where to focus your efforts)
The leadlife app tells you how you ‘score’ when it comes to nutrition, exercise, stress and sleep. It’s your ‘applause’ when you’re doing well, a ‘mirror’ to raise your awareness and your ‘motivator’ to keep going.
Leadlife FAQs
This service offers one year of free access to leadlife's well-being platform if you’re a member of a group policy provided by your employer (i.e. group insurance or group hospitalisation insurance from KBC Insurance). A leadlife Plus membership is worth 119.99 euros per year including VAT. It provides access to the leadlife app, allowing you to do things like connect wearables, participate in academies and ask experts questions with the app’s chat feature. The rollout will be phased starting from November 2024. Even if you are not included in the first phase, you’ll definitely get an opportunity to take part in this project at a later stage.
If you’re not sure, it’s a good idea to check with your employer. Once you meet the necessary conditions, such as joining your employer's group policy with KBC Insurance, you’ll be offered leadlife Plus membership.
Free leadlife Plus membership is currently valid for one year, after which you can renew your membership in accordance with the applicable conditions, provided KBC’s offer is still in effect. For example, you would meet these conditions if you are still covered by a KBC Employee Care product offered through your employer. If your membership has expired, you can still see your results and insights in your dashboard, but the other features of the leadlife app will no longer be available.
If the leadlife tile in KBC Mobile does not allow you to access the service even though you meet the conditions (i.e. you are covered by KBC Employee Care through your employer), it’s a good idea contact your employer. KBC may not have received all the right details correctly.
Activating leadlife Plus membership is only possible via KBC Mobile. Even if you’re not a KBC customer, you can still access KBC Mobile free of charge. The e-mail you receive from your employer will contain a link to start the registration process, which includes registering in KBC Mobile.
No, you don’t have to open an account with KBC to be eligible for the offer through your employer.
You can, but you don't have to. You need to use KBC Mobile to activate your leadlife Plus membership the first time you log in, but from then on you’ll only be asked to log in with KBC Mobile once a year.
Leadlife offers all kinds of information and inspiration to start working on your well-being. Even if you don’t have any wearables, leadlife can offer personalised insights by asking a few questions about various topics related to your well-being.
Your membership remains guaranteed for one year. If you no longer meet the conditions at your new employer (e.g., because you’re no longer covered by KBC Employee Care), you won’t be able to renew your membership in KBC Mobile. When your membership expires, you’ll still be able to access your results and insights in your dashboard, but the other features of the leadlife app will be unavailable.
No, at no point will your employer be able to access your personal data. They can only view aggregated data, such as the number of employees using leadlife.
Leadlife does not share data with your GP, though you can decide to share certain things with your GP yourself.
No, KBC will not have access to your personal data at any time. KBC only receives aggregated data such as the number of employees using leadlife.

KBC may decide – but is not obliged – to renew the free membership with leadlife after one year (subject to certain conditions). KBC also reserves the right to end the free membership with leadlife at any time, without prior notice or compensation.
