Returning your lease vehicle

End your lease and return your lease vehicle

How do I return my lease vehicle at the end of my lease? What happens if my lease vehicle is damaged? You can find the answers to some frequently asked questions below.

Return your vehicle in good condition to KBC Autolease along with the:

  • Certificate of conformity
  • Vehicle registration certificate
  • Service log book
  • Certificate of insurance (green card)
  • Vehicle inspection certificate
  • Codes
  • All keys

Be sure to read this checklist. You will also find an overview of the applicable fines if the guidelines are not followed.

VAB Fleet Services will check the vehicle at the car park in Londerzeel. We will take photos of the visible damage. Damage other than normal wear and tear will be billed as damage at the end of the lease.

For the definition of what can be considered ‘Normal wear and tear’, KBC Autolease exclusively follows the objective criteria and guidelines set by Renta (the Belgian Vehicle Rental Association) for the evaluation of passenger cars and company vehicles. ‘Smart repairs’ (alternative repair techniques offering good value for money) allow repair costs to be kept low.

Yes, you can. If you would like to do so, contact your fleet manager at the KBC Autolease Remarketing department.

No, this is not possible because the vehicle is registered in the name of KBC Autolease.
