Conclude your lease by returning your vehicle the easy way

As your lease draws to a close, you may be wondering how to return your company car. What does returning your vehicle involve and what guidelines does KBC Autolease follow if it’s damaged? Find out everything you need to know by going through the frequently asked questions below.

Your vehicle must be returned to KBC Autolease in a well-maintained condition together with:

  • the certificate of conformity
  • the vehicle registration certificate
  • the service log book
  • the certificate of insurance (green card)
  • the vehicle inspection certificate (if applicable)
  • any codes
  • all keys

Be sure to go over this checklist. You will also find an overview of possible fines for non-compliance.

VAB Fleet Services will check the vehicle at the car park in Londerzeel. Photos will be taken of the visible damage, and any damage not resulting from normal wear and tear will be billed as end-of-contract damage.

For the definition of what can be considered ‘normal wear and tear’, KBC Autolease exclusively follows the objective criteria and guidelines set by Renta (the Belgian Vehicle Rental Association) for the evaluation of passenger cars and company vehicles. Thanks to ‘smart repairs’ (alternative repair techniques offering good value for money), repair costs can be kept low.

Yes, you can. Ask your fleet manager to submit your request to the KBC Autolease Remarketing department.

No, this is not possible because the vehicle is registered in the name of KBC Autolease.
