What should you do if your lease vehicle is damaged or involved in an accident? Find the answers to your questions below and drive with peace of mind.

If you are in an accident, make sure you are safe first. If anybody has been hurt, call the emergency number 112 (ambulance and fire brigade).

If you are not insured through KBC Autoleasee (i.e. your lease contract does not include insurance and risk arrangement), you should contact your fleet manager as soon as possible in the event of an accident or damage.

Technical repairs must be carried out by approved distributors for your make of vehicle or garages in Belgium. You can find a list of these distributors on your car manufacturer’s website.

Bodywork repairs must be done at bodywork repair shops approved by KBC Autolease. Be sure to check the list of approved bodywork repair shops.

To report an accident involving another party, you must submit a correctly completed European Accident Statement to KBC Autolease.

  1. Complete the European accident statement fully and correctly
  2. Sign the statement – both drivers must sign
  3. Scan the accident statement and e-mail it to schadedienst@kbcautolease.be
