Frequently asked questions about your lease vehicle: fuel cards and charge cards

If you have questions about your Network Fleet Card (NFC) or VAB Multi-Brand Fuel Card (VAB), you can find the answers here.

You can use the Network Fleet Card (NFC) to fill up at all Shell, Esso, Q8, Dats 24 and TotalEnergies filling stations in Belgium. The international Network Fleet Card also allows you to refuel at any Shell and Esso filling station in Europe (excluding Esso stations in Switzerland).

Both cards are available as hybrid cards. These give you access to the Shell Recharge Solutions network, the largest public charging station network.

You can use the VAB Multi-Brand Fuel Card to fill up at all Q8, Esso, Texaco, Avia, Maes and Gabriëls-power filling stations in Belgium. The handy VAB station locator app means you can always find a filling station near you.

If you enter the wrong PIN for your NFC or VAB fuel card three times, your card will automatically be blocked for 24 hours, after which you can use it again.

E-mail us immediately at contact@kbcautolease.be so we can block your card. You should then apply for a new one by filling in the application form under ‘Forms and certificates’.

Always destroy your old card, even if you find it again later.

Apply for a new fuel card by filling in the application form under ‘Forms and certificates’.

Yes, you can, but you should enter the number 1 as the mileage in order to avoid irregularities in your company car’s mileage report.

If you paid for refuelling yourself (e.g., because the fuel card didn't work) you can get a refund if the following conditions are met:

  • It’s no more than six months after you refuelled
  • You can get a refund for up to three refuelling sessions per form
  • Your fleet manager must provide their signature

How does it work?

  • Fill in the digital ‘Fuel expense refund’ form
  • You will receive an e-mail confirming your request and KBC Autolease will take the necessary steps to refund you
  • Has your previous card expired?
If so, you can keep using your current PIN with your new charge or fuel card.
  • Has your card been lost or stolen?
If it has, you’ll receive a new PIN to activate your new charge or fuel card.

Important: you should always destroy your old card, even if you find it again.
